Asking your Facebook Group members questions is a great way to increase engagement! Groups are very people-oriented pages, and you want your members to get the most out of their experience.
While the following prompts will give you some ideas, remember - your page needs to be authentic to you and your personal brand! Before you choose a prompt, ask yourself a few questions:
● How is this relevant to me?
● Would I respond to this prompt myself?
● Will this bring value and spark conversation on my page?
At the end of the day, group prompts should do two things: help your followers get to know you better, and help you get to know your clients more personally! Adding pictures from your personal life that relate to the story you’re telling is always a great idea.
Keep in mind that the anecdotal information in each prompt paragraph should be edited to apply to you and your interests.
Prompt Ideas for Fall 2024
(Sisters’ Day, August 4th) August 4th marks National Sisters Day — a day to celebrate the amazing bond of sisterhood!
My sister and I are just as close now as we were when we were kids. From showing me the coolest new music to sharing the advice only a sister can give, she’s always got my back!
Let’s all honor our sisters and the bond we share with them — share your favorite memory or photo with your sister below!
(National Book Lovers Day, August 9th) Happy National Book Lovers Day!
If you’re like me, you know there’s nothing better than relaxing with a book after a long day. Right now, I’m re-reading some of my old favorites. I love to go back and see what I missed the first time around!
But I’m always on the hunt for something new and exciting — so fellow book lovers, what are you reading right now? Have any recommendations to share?
(August: National Dog Month) Did you know? August is National Dog Month!
I’ve been a dog lover my whole life, and a dog owner for most of it. Whether we’re hanging out at the dog park, walking around the neighborhood, or just watching TV on the couch together, my pup is always there for me.
Let’s all celebrate National Dog Month! Share a photo of you with your current canine BFF OR a special memory with your childhood dog!
(Labor Day, September 2nd) Happy Labor Day to all! Even though today marks the unofficial end of summer, I look forward to this day (and the long weekend!) all year.
Today, I’ll be celebrating at a classic Labor Day picnic with family and friends. We’ll have our favorite summer appetizers, spend some time outside, and of course, take one last dip in the pool before we close it up for fall!
How are you celebrating the “last day of summer” today?
(Grandparents’ Day, September 8th) No one loves you quite like your grandma, and Grandparents’ Day today is the perfect chance to celebrate that special bond!
When I was younger, my grandma and I had a special tradition — every time I’d go to her house, we’d do a puzzle together! It’s a hobby I’ve carried into adulthood, and one I hope to share with my own grandchildren.
Let’s spread that special grandparent love around! Show me a picture of you with your grandkids, or your favorite childhood photo with your grandparents!
(First Day of Fall, September 22nd) Goodbye summer, hello FALL! As much fun as I’ve had this summer, I’m ready to trade hot temperatures for cool, crisp evenings…AND flip flops and tank tops for boots and scarves!
This fall, I’m most excited to take my annual trip to the apple orchard, then come home and bake my famous apple pie!
What autumn activities are you looking forward to most?
(October: National Women’s Small Business Month) October is National Women’s Small Business Month!
I’m so proud to be a small business owner. From spending every day doing what I love to the chance to get to know all of you, it doesn’t get much better than this — and I can’t thank you enough for all your support!
Now, let’s spread the love around. Name-drop your favorite local OR online female-owned business in the comments!
(National Cat Day, October 29th) Attention all cat lovers! Today is the perfect occasion to celebrate your feline friends — Happy National Cat Day!
Whether they’re purring on our laps, zooming around the house at night, or chasing after their favorite toy, nothing brings laughter and joy into our lives like these little guys.
Show off your furry friend! Drop your best cat photo in the comments below.
(Halloween, October 31st) Happy Halloween! It’s usually the kids who get most excited for this holiday, but I think I love Halloween even more now than I did when I was trick-or-treating!
Marathoning my favorite scary movies, turning my house into a spooky display for the kids, even passing out candy and checking out all the cool costumes — I love everything about it!
Tonight, I’ll be taking an observer’s position on Halloween while I sit outside with my candy bowl. How are you celebrating? If you’re wearing a costume, bonus points for pictures!
It’s the most exhilarating feeling I can think of — rummaging through thrift store racks, finally finding the perfect piece to give a second life!
Shopping for a new wardrobe is always fun, but there’s something really special about thrifting. You never know what to expect, and more often than not, you leave with something amazing you never would’ve found otherwise!
Are you a thrift shop lover like me? Share a photo of your favorite thing you’ve thrifted!
Whether you need it to cover up a bad hair day or it’s the accessory that pulls your favorite outfit together, there’s never a bad time for a good hat!
The chance to wear more hats is one of the best things about dressing for fall. A beanie for running errands, a wide-brim fedora to go with your favorite boots, even an old baseball cap on your morning run — the possibilities are endless!
What’s your favorite type of hat to wear during the fall?
We’ve seen a big resurgence in disposable film cameras over the past few years! But for most of us, the majority of our photography still takes place on our phones.
It’s great to have all your pictures in one place (and not collecting dust in drawers), but I think there’s still a lot of value in physical copies! That’s why every few months, I create a folder of my favorite photos and have them printed. Some of them get hung on the wall, and some fill a photo album I’ll keep for years!
Have you started printing your photos again? If not, what’s your favorite way to digitally display them?
There’s no better feeling than giving back! There are quite a few causes close to my heart, so I try to give back through charitable activities and donations as often as I can.
I love to walk the dogs at the ASPCA, and I donate to the local food pantry whenever possible. Whether helping people or animals, I’m proud to do what I can to make a difference!
Let’s raise awareness for some charitable causes! Share a charity you love to support in the comments.
Want an instant mood AND confidence boost? Do your makeup, blow out your hair, and put on your favorite outfit!
Whenever I’m feeling down, the first thing I do is a little self-care. Taking an hour or two to focus on myself quiets my mind, distracts me from the stress of everyday life, and makes me feel like I can accomplish ANYTHING!
Here’s my challenge for you — go through the same routine you would if you were getting ready for an event, then come back and share a photo of you looking AND feeling your best!
Now that the weather has started cooling down, I’ve been walking whenever (and wherever) I can!
There aren’t a lot of walkable areas around me, but if I have the time to park a little further away from my destination, I’ll happily do it to get a little exercise in!
What’s your preference — do you always take your car and park as close as possible? Or do you take the opportunity to walk when you can?
When I treat myself to an afternoon coffee, I like to know what I’m getting!
Now don’t get me wrong — I’ll never turn down a fun new signature latte. But my usual is an iced vanilla latte with skim milk!
What’s your usual coffee order? Do you keep it simple like me? Or have you found a unique combination you love?!
Did you know that almost half of Americans have a name for their car?!
It surprised me at first, but the more I thought about it, I realized just how many people I know who’ve named their cars!
I’ve never named my car…but now I’m thinking I should! Does your car have a name? Share it in the comments OR give me some suggestions for mine!
Here’s my shopping confession — whenever I need something quick for a last-minute event, the first place I go is Target!
Don’t get me wrong, most of my shopping takes place online or at my favorite outlet stores. But you’d be surprised how many great things I’ve found at department stores!
Sure, they always start as last-minute or impulse purchases. But, a lot of my favorite pieces have actually come from Target, Costco, and even Walmart!
Do you have a favorite department store for finding last-minute clothes or accessories? Drop a photo of your favorite find in the comments!
Now that you’ve had a little time to go through the cabi Fall ‘24 catalog, I’m curious to know about some of your favorites!
I’ve been LOVING the new take on animal print in the Cheetah Pullover, and I can’t wait to cozy up this winter in the comfy Theodore Coat!
If you had to recommend ONE Fall ‘24 piece to a friend, which would you say is your #1 pick?!
Can you believe the holiday season is right around the corner?! 2024 went by so fast, and it’s crazy to think I’m already planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
The holidays can be stressful, but it’s still my favorite time of year. From decorating to spending more time with family, there’s nothing I don’t look forward to!
Are you starting to get excited for the holiday season? Or are you still embracing those fall vibes while you can?!
